As a Financial Analyst II, you will partner closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to manage trade and promotional investments, evaluate opportunities, and provide recommendations that improve customer and business performance.

This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys turning financial data into clear insights. You will balance recurring forecasting and business-review responsibilities with fast-moving requests that require curiosity, sound judgment, and confident recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze trade and promotional spending to support efficient investment across customers, channels, and timing.
• Conduct return-on-investment analyses and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate customer opportunities, funding requests, and incremental investments.
• Lead recurring customer financial reviews with assigned Sales and customer strategy partners.
• Prepare and maintain quarterly trade forecasts, including identifying risks, opportunities, and changing business trends.
• Monitor customer and business performance through sales, margin, pricing, and profitability analysis.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support planning and decision-making.
• Respond to ad hoc financial requests with timely, accurate analysis and a clear point of view.
• Present findings and recommendations to business partners in a concise and compelling way.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, financial processes, and decision support.

Qualifications

Location & Travel Requirements

• Hybrid position based in Lakeville, Minnesota.
• Expected to work in the Lakeville office Tuesday through Thursday, with flexibility to work from home Monday and Friday.
• Travel is expected to be less than 5%.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• One or more years of professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, or another role requiring applied analytical skills.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop recommendations.
• Experience building forecasts, financial models, or scenario analyses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver accurate work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to partners inside and outside of Finance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience partnering with a Sales organization.
• Experience analyzing sales, margin, pricing, trade spending, promotions, or customer profitability.
• Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.
• Experience creating and delivering presentations to business partners or leaders.
• Experience building or managing profit-and-loss statements or other financial statements.
• Experience working through a financial system implementation, migration, or significant process change.

The pay range for this position is $72,498 - $101,497 per year.
