Purpose The Brand Director, Digital serves as a senior leader, driving strategic client partnerships and overseeing account teams to deliver exceptional results. This role focuses on driving our digital business; elevating client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of creative and business solutions, and identifying opportunities for growth. The Brand Director, Digital is a skilled communicator, strategist, and producer who bridges client goals with agency capabilities, drives revenue, and strengthens the agency’s reputation as a trusted partner. You are a leader with a proven track record in managing high-level client relationships and guiding cross-functional teams. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have expertise in world class digital agencies, serving clients in fashion, technology, consumer goods, wellness, and retail. You excel at fostering trust, aligning teams around client objectives, and delivering measurable business impact. With strong strategic acumen and a collaborative mindset, you lead with confidence and inspire excellence. You have deep domain experience in at least two of the following: e-commerce (Shopify, Salesforce Commerce, custom builds, conversion and CRO), digital product delivery (apps, platforms, services), UX/UI delivery and design systems, cross-functional delivery with engineering teams, analytics and measurement (funnels, retention, performance), or innovation work (AI, personalization, emerging tech pilots). You've owned the full lifecycle: scoping, selling, running, and shipping digital work with real accountability for outcomes. You are: A trusted senior partner to clients — someone who builds executive-level relationships and navigates complex stakeholder environments with confidence and credibility. A sharp written communicator who can craft briefs, proposals, SOWs, and strategic recommendations that are clear, persuasive, and actionable. Rigorous about delivery — you manage scope, budget, timeline, and resourcing with discipline, and you identify risks before they become problems. Comfortable leading through ambiguity — you bring structure to undefined situations without waiting for someone else to figure it out. Someone with a high taste and quality bar for brand and experience — you care about how a brand shows up across every digital touchpoint, and you push teams toward excellence. Commercially minded — you understand margins, pricing, account health, and value creation, and you think about the business behind the work. Technically conversant — you're not an engineer, but you're fluent enough to lead conversations about platforms, architectures, integrations, and feasibility. Calm and decisive under pressure — you keep teams focused and clients confident when things get complex. You bring executive presence, delivery rigor, and brand sensibility to every engagement — and you know that the best digital work happens when all three are present. Responsibilities Account Management Own senior client relationships for digital engagements, serving as the primary point of trust and accountability across product, marketing, and technology stakeholders. Lead client communications and decision-making across complex, cross-functional digital programs. Translate business goals into clear digital scopes, roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans. Manage feedback loops, expectations, and hard conversations around scope, cost, timeline, and trade-offs. Be the trusted digital partner who brings clarity and momentum to every engagement — not just updates and status reports. Client Engagement Help originate and close new digital work, from initial conversations through signed SOWs. Lead discovery sessions, scoping exercises, proposals, and commercial negotiations for digital engagements. Expand existing accounts into new digital opportunities — e-commerce, platforms, CRM, digital products, innovation pilots. Participate in pitch strategy and client presentations, bringing credibility and specificity to what we sell. Build a repeatable growth motion for the digital department, contributing to pipeline and revenue targets. Ensure digital projects run well: timeline, budget, resourcing, and quality across concurrent engagements. Partner with design, engineering, and strategy to ship high-quality digital products, commerce experiences, and brand systems. Own delivery rhythms from kickoff through milestones, QA, launch, and iteration. Identify risks early and resolve them fast — with solutions, not escalations. Manage multiple concurrent engagements with calm, structured leadership and clear prioritization. Build processes and tools to support the overall health and efficiency of our operations. Logistical Requirements The Brand Director, Digital will be based out of our Los Angeles office, with a commitment to in-person collaboration. Monday – Thursday required in office, optional Work-from-home Fridays. For candidates based in New York or London, working structure will be defined. Travel within the US and internationally may be required based on client and company needs. As a full-time employee, the role may involve working extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet client deadlines.
