Packaging Technician – Second Shift Duration: 6 Months Contract Location: 35500 West 91st Street, DeSoto, KS 66018 Shift Schedule: 1:30 – 10pm Pay rate: $18.00/hr on W2 Position Summary Under direction of the Supervisor, work on a fast paced, team oriented line performing production procedures in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Operate production equipment, maintain documentation accuracy, and support sanitation activities within Packaging Department Responsibilities Operate production equipment, including start up, minor adjustments, and quality monitoring as required Responsible for complete and accurate documentation Clean and sanitize work areas as necessary, in accordance with SOPs Education HS Diploma or equivalent required Skills Analytical, scientific, and mechanical troubleshooting skills Good written and verbal communication skills Good computer skills Strict attention to detail and safety Ability to lift 25 pounds on an intermittent basis Working knowledge of aseptic technique Understanding and awareness of USDA regulations, SOP's, and SPP's Why Work With Us?
