3rd Shift Quality Assurance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all tasks in a safe manner. Complies with all plant and company safety programs. Works closely with customer service and planning department for customer needs related to Q/A. Inspects (audits) all production lines, pulling production samples and completing specification measurements. Pulls and reviews customer samples from WIP, Finished Goods & Raw material warehouses. Scans production documents into Docushare. Verifies QA hold paperwork and actions on shift daily. Retrieves and counts product and packing containers for sample shipments. Maintains department organization. Inspects and prepares color standards for plate room and presses (reviewing color). Pulls press sheets daily from printing presses for inspection and paperwork scanning. Assists in sorting product in QA hold or inner department when needed; performs general office duties, including extensive computer data entry and filing. Investigates internal & external complaints. Performs miscellaneous duties—filling safety supplies, assisting QA techs, and managing QA supply ordering. Working Knowledge and Qualifications Requires near/far acuity; good vision and color perception. Must be detail oriented. Has basic computer skills for data entry purposes. Can learn to use SPC (Statistical Process Control) procedures. Communicates effectively with others. Works overtime as required to meet customers’ needs. Acts as a problem solver in a fast‑paced environment. Education and Experience Manufacturing or Quality Control experience required. Must have good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
