Barre Instructor

Prairie Athletic Club is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Barre Sculpt Instructor to join our Group Fitness team! We’re seeking an instructor who can create an energetic, welcoming class environment while helping members build strength, improve balance, and develop muscular endurance. Barre Sculpt combines the precision and control of barre with strength and sculpting exercises. Classes incorporate a portable ballet barre, light weights, bodyweight movements, and high-repetition exercises to challenge the legs, glutes, core, and upper body. What You’ll Do Lead safe, effective, and motivating Barre Sculpt classes. Demonstrate proper form and provide clear exercise modifications. Create an inclusive environment welcoming to a variety of fitness levels. Incorporate barre, strength, balance, core, and sculpting movements. Provide appropriate modifications and progressions throughout class. Maintain a positive, energetic presence and connect with members. Follow PAC Group Fitness policies, procedures, and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized studio and return equipment after class. What We’re Looking For Previous experience teaching barre, Pilates, dance, strength, or other group fitness formats preferred. Group fitness certification and/or relevant fitness credentials preferred. Strong knowledge of exercise technique, alignment, and safe movement. Ability to confidently lead and motivate a group. Professional, dependable, and enthusiastic personality. Commitment to creating a welcoming experience for all members. Barre-specific experience or certification is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong group fitness, Pilates, dance, or strength-training backgrounds.
