Key Responsibilities

Patient Outreach:

• Conduct outbound outreach to patients regarding outstanding balances and follow up until each balance is resolved.
• Set up and document patient payment arrangements during outreach.

Inbound Balance Calls:

• Answer inbound patient calls regarding balances, statements, and payment questions.
• Resolve billing inquiries and process patient payments over the phone.

Documentation:

• Accurately log all patient interactions, commitments, and payment arrangements in the patient ledger.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient billing, patient financial services, front desk, or a call-based customer service role.

Clear, patient, and professional phone communication, especially regarding financial conversations.

Comfort setting up payment arrangements and handling balance conversations with empathy.

Familiarity with at least one dental practice management system, with willingness to cross-train.

Bilingual is a plus.
