Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide support during surgery, including preparing operating rooms, properly positioning patients, and passing instruments as needed
• Deliver exceptional care before and after surgeries, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations that emphasize surgical practice is highly desirable

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS credentials required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
