This is a unique role sitting at the intersection of trading, market operations, and emerging alternative markets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving, lower-supervision environment, exercises strong independent judgment, and takes genuine ownership of their responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesTrading & MonitoringMonitor live prediction market positions across platforms (e.g., Kalshi, Polymarket, Manifold, PredictIt) during assigned night and weekend shiftsTrack real-time event resolution, market liquidity, and price movements; flag anomalies or unexpected developmentsMaintain position awareness and escalate risk concerns to senior traders or risk management per established protocolsExecute straightforward trades and position adjustments within pre-defined risk parametersMonitor automated systems and alert on model or execution anomaliesOperationsManage platform-level operational tasks including instrument definitions and account maintenance across exchangesEnsure accurate trade capture and reporting; escalate breaks or discrepancies promptlyDocument market events, resolutions, and any operational incidents during shiftCoordinate handoffs with the day shift trading team, providing clear and concise written summaries each morningAssist in onboarding to new prediction market platforms as the landscape evolvesOur ideal candidate is dependable, trustworthy and has the confidence to oversee our trading business during atypical working hours. This candidate will also have the opportunity to work closely with software engineers to enhance and further develop the firm's trading strategies. Strong graduates will also be considered.High degree of personal responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail.Strong understanding of probability, expected value, and basic statistics.Experience with basic scripting (Python, SQL) for monitoring or data analysis.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours.Excellent written communication skills for shift handoff notes and incident documentation.Comfort operating across multiple software platforms simultaneously.Preferred Demonstrated familiarity with prediction markets - either professionally or as a serious participantPrior experience trading on Kalshi, Polymarket, or similar platformsBackground in market making, statistical arbitrage, or event-driven tradingThe ProcessAfter applicants pass an initial resume screening, an online programming test will be sent via email.
