Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department setting across all care zones
• Manage a mixed patient population including STEMI, stroke, sepsis, sprains, sutures, and high-acuity presentations
• Administer and monitor IV drips including routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation medications
• Care for pediatric patients integrated throughout all ED zones without a dedicated separate pediatric area
• Maintain safe patient ratios, typically 4:1, with flexibility during peak census periods

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Demonstrated experience with both adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and administer complex medication drips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Experience in a combined adult/pediatric ED environment without a separate pediatric unit
