As a Systems Engineer, you will be a member of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team focused on modeling, designing, developing, integrating, debugging, testing, fielding, and supporting our innovative Electronic Systems.Typical Job Responsibilities:Creation and/or review of systems, software, component, subsystem requirements and operational conceptsDeriving, decomposing, allocation and traceability of requirements to engineering disciplineIdentification of Risks and Opportunities and executing on mitigation strategiesIdentification of System Technical Performance MeasuresParticipation in trade studies, analysis, peer reviews, and customer meetingsSupport system modeling & simulation, design, and development activitiesCreation of external and internal interface definitionKnowledge of model based systems engineering tools and approachPresentation of findings at design reviews internally or with customersCreation of test plans, test procedures and reportsCreation and/or review of algorithmsAnalysis of data to inform decision makingExecution of integration, verification, and validation activities and testsParticipate in external field and flight tests of our EW SystemsParticipate in constant improvement of the System Engineering disciplineBecause of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.Required Education, Experience, & Skills:Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science or related2-20+ years of relevant Systems Engineering experience.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree in electrical engineering or computer science/engineeringExperience with Electronic Warfare systems and/or complex electromechanical productsExperience with systems engineering activities across the product development lifecycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, architecture, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test, production, sustainment)Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $105827 - $179906 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
