Transportation Engineer

Transportation Engineer A Transportation Engineer with a minimum of three years of relevant experience is sought to join the transportation team at one of our Mid‑Atlantic office locations. This role supports a variety of projects and may involve collaboration with other AMT offices and project opportunities. Qualifications BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution (required) Minimum three years of experience in roadway, highway, and traffic control plan preparation (required) Engineering‑in‑Training (EIT/FE) certification (preferred) Experience with MicroStation OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D (required) Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co‑workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members Responsibilities Support a variety of projects, including data collection, existing condition and alternative analysis, and engineering reports Develop horizontal and vertical alignments Perform cross‑section and superelevation design, roadside barrier design, ADA curb ramp design, roadway modeling Provide design support for erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater management plans, right‑of‑way plans, utility relocation plans, permit application drawings, and traffic‑related plans Benefits Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Medical, dental, vision, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance Strong 401(k) company match and ESOP shares Hybrid work schedule with up to two days from home each week Three weeks paid time off and nine paid holidays Education assistance, in‑house training, and professional organization support #J-18808-Ljbffr AMT Engineering
