Sales Representative I

Zimmer Biomet seeks a Sales Representative I in Irvine to promote and sell orthopedic products, implants, and surgical technologies to healthcare professionals. The role combines strategic account management, clinical case support, and team collaboration within a performance-driven sales career path.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement account plans; manage sales funnel, activities, and progress reporting
- Develop relationships with orthopedic surgeons, OR staff, and hospital administrators for account growth
- Provide technical support during surgical procedures, demonstrations, and clinical evaluations
- Prepare and verify surgical instruments and implants prior to cases; provide logistical support
- Conduct local educational and sales events; mentor Sales Associate team members
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of orthopedic surgical protocols, instrumentation, and OR workflows
- Ability to travel regularly across assigned territory and lift equipment up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with surgeons, OR staff, and internal teams
- Attention to detail in surgical planning, equipment preparation, and procedural accuracy
- Knowledge of structured sales methodology and CRM/SMS systems
- Willingness to work after-hours, weekends, and on-call case coverage as needed
