Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist operates under the supervision of the CT Supervisor to produce diagnostic CT scans, assist radiologists during procedures, and ensure high standards of patient care in alignment with the organization's vision and mission.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures on patients of all ages, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
• Coordinate daily workflow to facilitate the throughput of ER, in-patients, and outpatients.
• Ensure appropriate quality control monitoring in compliance with departmental policies.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of a radiologist.
• Maintain operational proficiency with CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment.
• Stay updated with advancements in CT imaging technology and methods.
• Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of exams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in CT imaging, including trauma experience.
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R) and ARRT (CT) certifications are required.
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• AHA BLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
