Commercial Lines Account Manager

Turbeville Insurance is seeking a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager at the company's Columbia, Lexington, Charleston, or Beaufort locations. The Account Manager provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to customers, producers and company personnel. The position requires a positive attitude and provides a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing our commercial accounts.

The following is a list of the essential functions of this position. This list is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within the position description but is not limited to:

• Service commercial lines accounts as assigned, aiding in rating and quoting as needed
• Binding New & Renewal Coverage Processing Commercial Lines applications and collection of premiums per established agency procedures before binding any coverage
• Maintain client files in agency management system
• Maintain required licenses
• Respond to requests in a timely manner
• Issue cancellation notices as required
• Service commercial lines accounts to prevent gap and/or lapse in coverage, thus reducing E&O exposures
• On occasion, meet with clients to discuss and handle their insurance needs
• Prepare general correspondence as required for executive officers
• Keep producers fully informed of important activities on their accounts including being sensitive to potential problems and informing management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

• SC P&C Insurance License preferred
• SC Broker License Preferred
• Two Years' experience in Commercial Lines via an insurance agency environment preferred

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
