Chemistry/Biochemistry Student Lab Assistant - Federal Work Study

Federal Work Study StudentThe University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Chemistry/Biochemistry department on the Blue Ridge campus. We are looking for a student worker who can help us manage lab equipment and assist with setup and cleanup for lab experiments.The student lab assistant will be responsible for helping unpack and stock lab equipment, set up equipment for experiments, and assist with clean up after experiments. The student should be motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The student should be able to lift, break down, and dispose of boxes. The student should have careful attention to detail that is required when setting up materials for a lab experiment.Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker. Required documents to attach include a resume, cover letter, and federal work study award.Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a background investigation including a criminal background check demonstrating your eligibility for employment with the University of North Georgia, as determined by University of North Georgia in its sole discretion, confirmation of the credentials and employment history reflected in your application materials and, if applicable, a satisfactory credit check.
