Dietitian - Dietary Aide

Dietitian Profession

This position involves providing dietary consultation for general medicine and pediatric patients. Common diagnoses include obesity, prediabetes, cancer, celiac disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, malnutrition, and eating disorders. The Dietitian will work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. There may be an on-call requirement for remote support every 6-8 weeks for adult patients and every 4-5 weeks for pediatric patients. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage a diverse patient caseload effectively. This role requires both department and unit-specific orientation to ensure familiarity with policies and procedures. The charting system utilized is EPIC. The attire is sea mist green scrubs or business casual clothing. This position does not include dietary or nutrition aides in the department. There is a possibility for secondary coverage during staff days off.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of inpatient clinical experience, with preference for pediatric experience License: Required WV State Licensure Certifications: Registered Dietitian, BLS Certification Must-Have: Experience with general medicine and pediatric patients, with a caseload of 8-10 patient consults per day
