We offer excellent benefits and supply you with the tools you need to maximize your potential.The Warehouse Lead will be under the direct supervision of the Parts Manager and will guide the work of the warehouse staff to ensure all customer orders are delivered in a timely manner without jeopardizing quality or safety and in a manner that reflects the company's vision of working as "One Professional Team."Pay Rate: $21.00-$30.00 per hour. Pay is based upon education and experience.Essential Functions:Enters data accurately into computer Warehouse Management SystemWorks to minimize company's expenses on supplies and equipmentManages the log process and resolves problemsEnsures proper processes and procedures are in complianceWorks with other warehouse Leads to resolve problems and effectively use resourcesEnsures all work is performed in accordance with the safety rules and regulationsPromotes teamwork in completing warehouse goalsEnsures the warehouse is organized and cleanTrains warehouse workers in job responsibilities and safety proceduresInteracts with customers in professional manner to meet their needs and resolve problemsSelects, packages, and/or ships parts according to assigned areaUses Warehouse Management System computer system to process ordersOperates forklift as required by job assignmentOther duties as assigned by managerPhysical Demands & Competencies:Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearingData Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skillSafety & Product KnowledgeHeavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 94 pounds or moreRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED1+ years administrative/clerical experience3+ years warehouse experience3+ years customer service experience5+ years supervisory/management experienceAbility to operate a forkliftBasic familiarity with light industrial equipment including saws, hoisting equipment, and hose pressesWork Environment:Noise: LoudIndoors and OutdoorsAdditional Eligibility Requirements:Valid driver's licenseAdaptable to shift and hoursCapable of working weekendsMust pass all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screeningsJob Offers are contingent upon all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
