About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Tennessee**Start Date:** September 21, 2026**Location:** Tennessee**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** 4 weekend shifts per month, 1:2 patient ratios, on-site unit secretary and scrub tech support**Highlights:**- Work in a 9-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 3 swing rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 3-bed OBED- Collaborate with a 24/7 in-house laborist team model including dedicated midwives, CRNA, and on-call OBGYN- Documentation using CPN and Meditech systems- Advanced procedures include circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, magnesium sulfate administration, postpartum hemorrhage protocols (JADA system), and nitrous oxide administration- Supportive practice environment with 8-bed Level 2 NICU and dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner available 24/7- Award-winning unit recognized as HCA Unit of Distinction 2021 and TIPQC Pilot hospital for NTSV and Team Birth**Requirements:**- Current RN license- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required- Fetal monitoring certification- Labor & Delivery experience preferred- Advanced skills in Spinning Babies and STABLE programs helpful- May float to mother/baby unit or assist with tasks in other departments as needed**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a high-performing team dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered birth experiences that support vaginal birth opportunities and patient choice.
