Used Car Inspection and repair Technician 

Farris Motor Company in Jefferson City, TN is looking for an Automotive Technician specializing in Used Vehicle Inspection and Repair.

Job Duties

• Perform thorough inspections on used vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Complete necessary repairs to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
• Perform maintenance, brake, suspension, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Review vehicle condition and identify needed repairs
• Complete quality repairs following manufacturer standards
• Communicate repair needs and vehicle status
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What We're Looking For

• Automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to inspect vehicles and identify repair needs
• Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs
• Commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned vehicles
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

ASE certifications, dealership experience, previous used vehicle reconditioning experience, and advanced diagnostic skills are a plus.

This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles before they are sold to our customers. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in quality work and enjoys making sure every vehicle meets Farris standards before it reaches the road.
