Our employees are like family, and we would love to welcome you! Hacienda is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist the company in maintaining and enhancing the company's financial reporting. This position requires a highly skilled and proactive professional who can work independently toward company goals. Candidates should have vast experience in financial accounting and reporting as well as the ability to manage a team.A day in the life…Performing and/or overseeing month-end close proceduresProduce complete monthly financial statements accurately and on timeMaintain compliance under GAAPPerform reconciliations of financial accountsMaintain fixed assets depreciationPlan and oversee inventory counts and analyze resultsAssist in budgeting processesPrepare special reports as necessary for reporting to Executives and Board of DirectorsOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsAnalyze company expenditures and cash flowSupervise junior accountants and other finance staff, providing guidance and support in their daily tasksLead or participate in ad hoc financial projects such as system implementation or process improvements.Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, such as expansion into new markets or product linesRequired skills…· Bachelor's degree in accounting required, CPA license or eligibility to sit for CPA exam highly preferred · 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, Some experience in public accounting setting highly preferred. · Strong knowledge of GAAP · Experience across a broad range of accounting functions such as cash management, receivables, payables, purchasing, and expense reporting. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Flexible work from home options available.Compensation: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
