Full Time Nights Registered Nurses – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)The ideal candidates for this role will be passionate about providing care and educating the patients in this community! The core responsibilities for this role will be the following:Plans, provides, supervises and documents professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.Charts observations and activities related to patient care in electronic health record.Provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.Guides and directs assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, infection control and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.Collects blood specimens by venipuncture or micro techniques for laboratory analysis necessary for patient treatment and diagnosis.Operates equipment that is needed to perform department specific duties.Additional Information:12-hour shiftsShift Differentials offeredTuition Reimbursement403(b) accountPTO & Sick TimeMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceSupplemental Insurance CoveragesComplimentary BLS / CPI classes offeredSign on BonusQualifications:Education:Associates or better in Nursing.Experience:1 year: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE - NO NEW GRADSLicenses & Certifications:BLS - Basic Life SuptACLS-Adv Cardio Life SuptEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
