AS/400 RPG Developer - EDI & Integration

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced AS/400 RPG Developer with strong experience in EDI , system integration , and IBM i environments to join our internal team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and supporting RPG applications, working with EDI transactions, and integrating AS/400 systems with external applications and business partners.
This is a remote internal position offering the opportunity to work on application development, integration, enhancements, troubleshooting, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support applications on the IBM i / AS/400 platform .
- Design and develop programs using RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and SQL .
- Develop and maintain EDI interfaces and integrations with customers, vendors, and third-party systems.
- Work with common EDI transaction sets such as 850, 810, 856, 855, 997 , and related transactions.
- Analyze EDI mapping requirements and troubleshoot inbound and outbound EDI transactions.
- Develop and support integrations between AS/400 applications and external systems.
- Work with APIs, file-based integrations, web services, and other integration mechanisms as required.
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting of production issues related to RPG applications and EDI integrations.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, QA teams, and external partners
