Technical Sales Support & Service Manager

Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Technical Sales Support & Service Manager. This role is located at our Chanhassen, MN facility. The role is hybrid. No relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:The Technical Sales Support and Service Manager leads a team of technical specialists responsible for technical sales support, field service, North American rental fleet and customer-facing filtration solutions across North America. The role is accountable for developing team capabilities, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and competitive technical solutions that support revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Working closely with sales, engineering, product management, operations, and marketing, the manager establishes technical support strategies, leads continuous improvement initiatives, and resolves complex customer and business challenges. This position serves as the functional leader for technical expertise, process optimization, talent development, and cross-functional execution within the Filtration business In this role you will:• Lead, coach, and develop Technical Sales Specialists and Filtration Systems Specialists to achieve business and professional development objectives• Establish team goals, performance expectations, and development plans aligned with commercial and operational priorities.• Drive technical support strategies that improve customer responsiveness, quote quality, proposal accuracy and efficiency• Manage staffing, workload balancing, succession planning, and resource allocation across North America.• Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to quoting, proposal cycle time, technical support responsiveness, field service effectiveness, and customer experience.• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, standardization, automation, and scalability of technical sales and support processes.• Ensure high-quality technical support for engineered, configured, and standard filtration products and systems.• Partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to support growth initiatives and product lifecycle management.• Establish and maintain quoting standards, pricing governance, proposal review processes, and technical documentation practices.• Drive sales growth in field service and rental fleet services• Support strategic customer opportunities by providing executive-level technical guidance and commercial risk assessment.• Lead resolution of complex customer issues, product performance concerns, and field escalations.• Facilitate development and delivery of technical training programs for employees, distributors, and customers.• Drive adoption and optimization of commercial technologies including customer relationship management platforms, configure-price-quote systems, and enterprise resource planning systems.• Collaborate with global teams to share technical knowledge, best practices, and process improvements.• Provide leadership for cross-functional projects involving new product introductions, digital transformation initiatives, and customer experience improvements.• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, customer focus, innovation, and continuous learningQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionSeven (7) years of experience in industrial technical sales, applications engineering, field service, manufacturing operations, or related technical commercial disciplines.Three (3) years of formal or informal leadership experience leading technical or commercial teams.Must be able to travel up to 25%.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
