About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Alternative Investments Middle Office Support Senior Consultant (Customer Service Specialist) to join the Alternative Investments team within Wealth and Investment Management. This high-touch service team supports Alternative Investment activity across the field by partnering closely with advisors, product/business teams, and operational groups. Responsibilities include facilitating trade support, responding to advisor inquiries, and managing escalations through resolution.Responsibilities include responding to inquiries and issues from customers on a variety of complex financial products, services and/or select customer segments through a variety of channels. The Specialist will respond to inquiries, resolve problems, and provide a best-in-class customer experience while adhering to work guidelines, policies, and regulations.Learn more about our career areas and business divisions at WellsFargoJobs.com.In this role, you will:Support Financial Advisors and field teams by assisting the field with questions on Alternative Investment products through phone, email, and other inquiriesAssist the business with project work and education to the field on AlternativesProvide support around Alternative Investment tradesProvide support to navigate account management, documentation, and technical supportTroubleshoot and resolve escalated advisor or client-service issues, including transaction status questions, account restrictions, subscription/redemption questions, trade errors, or process delaysAssist the business with project work and education to the field on AlternativesAct as a primary support person for internal partners supporting customer servicesProvide information to managers to resolve advisor issuesAbility to de-escalate and resolve complex issuesTrain and mentor other team membersServe as a backup resource for supervisory oversight and responsibilitiesRequired Qualifications:2+ years of experience in Customer Service, Financial Services, or Contact Center, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Experience working with Alternative Investments in investment operations, wealth management or servicing settingExperience working within financial servicesPrior experience in Client service roles supporting HNW/UHNW advisorsAbility to answer phones in a professional and friendly manner, demonstrating effective communication, de-escalation, and customer service skillsAbility to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate departmentAbility to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needsExperience troubleshooting and resolving customer issuesBS/BA DegreeJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipPosting Location: 550 South Tryon Street - Charlotte, NCPosting End Date: 12 Aug 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
