About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the organization's budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the annual planning and budgeting processes across multiple business entities, as well as developing and enhancing rolling forecasts and predictive models. This role demands a strategic thinker who can prepare and present reports, analytics, and presentations for various stakeholders, and who is adept at analyzing historical data to forecast future results and explain budget variances. Collaboration with different departments to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and operational initiatives is also a key aspect of the position. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance role at the company should have 6-10 years' of experience in FP&A, with a preference for those with a background in real estate or asset management. A CPA or CFA designation is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving process improvements, implementing enhanced reporting tools, and be skilled in financial modeling, analytical, and organizational abilities. Advanced Excel skills and experience with business intelligence software are essential. The role requires a proactive individual who can work closely with executive leadership, accounting, investments, and asset management teams, and who is capable of leading ad hoc analysis projects and supporting the CFO and broader leadership team in special projects as needed.
