About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Controller for Corporate Functions to oversee the finance and accounting activities of a large technology investment portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective cost governance, administering capitalization processes, and coordinating annual technology budgets and financial planning with business leadership. This role also involves identifying cost trends, accounting issues, and opportunities for improving financial performance and efficiency, as well as consolidating global financial results and delivering executive reporting across business functions. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least 8-9 years' of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a related role within financial services. Experience in technology investment accounting, capitalization, and cost governance is essential. The role requires a strong team-based attitude, excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. The VP Controller will also be expected to have experience with financial systems and ERP platforms, and to support regulatory reporting, accounting policy initiatives, and financial compliance requirements.
