About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Global Payroll to join their Corporate Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the global payroll strategy, operating model, and governance framework. This role involves leading and developing a high-performing global payroll team, managing relationships with payroll managed services partners, and ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and scalability of the global payroll function across all jurisdictions. The SVP will also be the executive escalation point for complex payroll issues, drive payroll technology optimization, and oversee process improvements. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive payroll leadership experience. The role requires a strong understanding of payroll accounting, internal controls, and proven experience in managing payroll implications of equity compensation. A Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar designation is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with major payroll platforms, and HCM and ERP integrations. Responsibilities include owning payroll governance, internal controls, and risk management, as well as partnering with accounting on payroll accruals and financial reporting impacts. The SVP will also be tasked with ensuring correct tax withholding, timely payroll tax deposits, and overseeing global year-end payroll reporting and filings.
