Transportation Specialist
Little Creations Learning Center
Job Description The Transportation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and reliable transportation of children to and from school and other approved destinations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe environment by following all traffic laws, childcare transportation regulations, and Little Creations Learning Center policies and procedures. Responsibilities include conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; maintaining accurate transportation logs and vehicle records; ensuring children are properly secured in seat belts or approved child restraint systems; safely loading and unloading children; maintaining appropriate child-to-staff supervision during transportation; communicating effectively with parents, school personnel, and center staff regarding transportation needs; keeping the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition; reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly; and assisting with other center duties as assigned when transportation services are not being provided.
