This position is a member of our Air Grants Division. Here's What You'll Be Doing Oversee and ensure grantee compliance with advanced grant conditions including the collection, review, and analysis of grantee annual usage reporting data. Provide advanced technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders and grantees regarding the procedures that must be followed to meet grant conditions including the submission of equipment disposition verification and the submission of annual usage reports. Assist management in the development and implementation of processes and procedures related to the collection, review, and analysis of grantee annual usage reporting data and for addressing issues of grantee non-compliance. Assist management in conducting training on established processes and procedures for internal and external stakeholders. May serve as subject matter expert in the development of grant solicitation documents. Assist management in establishing timelines and tracking progress towards completing required grant management procedures including the entry of all annual usage reporting data into the CTA database, the verification of equipment disposition, completion of grantee performance evaluations at the end of the grant activity life, and the issuance and tracking of invoices issued for grantee non-compliance. Coordinate regular and ad hoc reports to internal stakeholders on the status of active contracts and/or information related to a grantee's compliance history. Assist management in compiling grant records and files for review by the General Law Division and Office of the Attorney General. Key Qualifications Experience managing assignments with multiple responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines. Experience reviewing, analyzing, or entering data provided by internal and external customers, including compliance or reporting information. Experience leading, coordinating, or tracking projects, tasks, or team workload. Experience using databases and software such as Excel, Adobe, Word, Outlook, Teams, Power Apps, or similar tools to track and document work. Required Education & Experience A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, plus three years of full-time experience in developing, implementing, coordinating, administering, monitoring, and/or planning grant programs. OR A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus five years of full-time experience performing supervisory, managerial, professional or technical work which must include: analysis of work problems having an administrative aspect and interpretation of complex written material; or planning, organizing, and coordinating requirements for support services or program operations where a wide range of demands are involved, including interpretation of complex written material. Employees in this classification series may research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure, including but not limited to a communication infrastructure system, cybersecurity system, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment system, or water treatment facility. Accordingly, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure is a requirement to be hired for and to continue to be employed with TCEQ. Substitution for all options One year of full-time experience related to examples of work performed may substitute for 30 semester hours of the required education. A graduate degree in public administration, business administration, environmental resource management, planning, or in an area relevant to the position from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two years of the required experience.
