Part-Time Administrative Assistant

SUMMARYThe Administrative Assistant provides professional administrative support for the Tidewater office. This role ensures efficient office operations, accurate documentation, and effective communication within the organization and collaboration within the community. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders.SCHEDULE21 hours per week3 in person days in office with each day being 7.5 hoursESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Administrative SupportServe as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming communicationsManage scheduling, correspondence, and internal communicationsMaintain organized records and assist with data entry and reportingSupport logistics for meetings, training, and office eventsMonitor and manage office supplies and mail distributionAssist with documentation compliance and file managementBuilding and Vehicle MaintenanceCoordinate routine maintenance and repairs for the office building as needed.Schedule and track maintenance for agency vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Liaise with vendors and service providers for building and vehicle needs.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEOne year certificate from college or technical school; or a high school diploma and three to six months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and skills.
