Job Title: Strategic Commodity Manager 4 Location: Livermore, CA Employment Type: Contract Compensation: $91.00/ hr About the Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Strategic Commodity Manager to lead the development and execution of global supply chain strategies for key commodities, with a focus on OEM parts. In this role, you'll collaborate across teams to optimize supplier performance, drive cost and quality improvements, and ensure supply continuity in a complex, fast‑paced environment. Benefits Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote High-impact role with visibility to senior leadership Opportunity to work on global supply chain strategy and innovation Competitive compensation with long‑term contract stability What You'll Do Develop and implement a 3‑year commodity strategy to enhance cost, quality, and supply availability Lead supplier selection, consolidation, and development initiatives Drive complex sourcing and contract negotiations to meet business objectives Build strong relationships with global suppliers and internal stakeholders Present strategic insights and recommendations to leadership and cross‑functional teams What You'll Bring 10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or commodity management 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor equipment industry 7+ years of experience with ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel usage What Sets You Apart MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills Experience working in matrixed organizations and influencing senior stakeholders Excellent communication and presentation skills Additional Information Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen Overtime may be required based on business needs Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
