Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record financial transactions related to manufacturing operations.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts specific to inventory and production costs.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices for raw materials and customer payments for manufactured goods.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, providing data relevant to cost of goods sold.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes within a manufacturing context.
• Prepare basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, highlighting manufacturing-related expenses.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in a manufacturing context.
• Proven ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reconciliation.
