Key Responsibilities Accurately record financial transactions related to manufacturing operations. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts specific to inventory and production costs. Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices for raw materials and customer payments for manufactured goods. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, providing data relevant to cost of goods sold. Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes within a manufacturing context. Prepare basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, highlighting manufacturing-related expenses. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in a manufacturing context. Proven ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes accurately and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reconciliation.
