In-House Security Officer

The Los Angeles Dodgers currently have a job opportunity for an In-House Security Officer . The position is part of the Security Department and reports to the Director, Security. It is a Part‑Time, Seasonal, Union position with a pay rate of $22.44–$26.39 per hour. Compensation rates vary based on experience, skills, education and training. Responsibilities Greet guests at all stadium events. Conduct visual and physical screening of guests and their belongings. Perform pre‑game, in‑game, and post‑game duties. Verify credentials for entry into restricted areas. Provide assistance to guests with special needs. Maintain a visible presence and monitor assigned sections. Guide guests to exits or provide instructions in case of an emergency. Monitor alcoholic beverage activities, recognize and report illegal or improper behavior according to policy and procedure. Assist with crowd management efforts. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Current and valid California Guard Card. Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record. Courteous, polite, and respectful service to guests and employees. Adaptability to changing task assignments. Ability to exhibit maturity through sound legal and ethical decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform well under pressure and crisis without loss of composure. Adherence to department standards for attendance, performance, and conduct. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. Ability to walk, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods. Bilingual skill is preferred.
