Mantenance Mechanic

DESCRIPTION

THE MISSION:

The Maintenance Mechanic plays a key role in supporting the achievement of SetterStix's business objectives by:

• Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles.

• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

• Service, repair, calibrate, regulate, fine-tune, or test machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of electrical or electronic (not mechanical) principles.

• Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.

A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:

• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment, including service and minor repairs.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, and other systems.

• Install, adjust, and inspect new and existing equipment, according to product specifications.

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.

• Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse to maintain machinery and work areas.

• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

• Estimate costs to repair machinery, equipment, or building structures.

• Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.

• Install equipment to improve the energy or operational efficiency of residential or commercial buildings.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
