Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - (9055) Job Title Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Job Description Cape Fox subsidiary Concentric Methods, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse to provide full time care to our deserving military at the Internal Medicine Clinic at Eglin AFB, FL at the 96th Med Group campus. The schedule is Monday through Friday. The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $32.35 per hour for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $26.91 plus $5.44 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. This rate represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn. One year of experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting in the last 24 months is required. Requirements: LPN/LVN shall be assigned to any outpatient clinic according to assignment of the chief nurse/medical technician. Complete assigned patient care based on the patients’ conditions, use judgement in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments, and accurately recognize, report and record relevant patient information. Observe, identify, and respond to the patient’s needs for care including medication, equipment-assisted care and patient/family education. Prepare and administer prescribed medications and perform treatments according to established policies/procedures. Recognize urgent- or emergent patient care situations, seek assistance of the RN or medical provider and initiate appropriate emergency interventions as directed. Perform support duties for complex diagnostic tests and specialized practices or procedures which include preparing the patient, assisting in diagnostic examinations. Initiate, perform, and complete assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations. Travel Requirements 0 - 10% Job Requirements High School Diploma/GED and graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Taken and Passed NCLEX-PN board. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). One year of experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting in the last 24 months is required. Must provide documentation/certification of IV therapy training from one or more of the following educational alternatives: post-graduate level course, credit for previous education or nontraditional education. Current, valid, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse in any U.S. jurisdiction within the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands. Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
