Registered Nurse (RN) NICU

Position Overview Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Multispecialty Care team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. Schedule Full‑time, 36 hours per week. Night shift: 7:00PM – 7:00AM. Salary & Sign‑On Bonus Pay range: $34.00 – $51.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, training, certifications and education. Sign‑on bonus: up to $20,000. Responsibilities Coordinate and perform hands‑on acute patient care at the bedside. Provide specialized neonatal nursing care in a 24‑hour intensive care environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Document and monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (or valid multi‑state RN license under the Nurse Licensure Compact). Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Critical Care Nursing experience (preferred). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications (required for the NICU). Specialty certifications such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred. Benefits Health, prescription, dental and vision coverage.
