Manager, Stock Operations

Responsibilities Facilitate the administration of the Netflix Stock Option Program, including grants, exercises, and settlements of stock. Ensure compliance with equity‑related regulatory requirements, including tax withholding, data privacy, securities and labor laws across Netflix entities worldwide. Partner with Employment Tax and Mobility Tax teams to document and operationalize tax and reporting requirements for non‑US stock grants and exercises. Collaborate with internal technology teams to design workflows and systems that maximize efficiencies in stock operations and streamline compliance reporting. Partner with the Compensation team on operational and compliance aspects of executive compensation plans, including RSUs and PSUs. Work directly with executives and their brokers on 10b5‑1 plans throughout the award lifecycle. Review first drafts of statutory public filings (e.g., SEC Forms 3, 4, 5, Proxy statements, 10‑K, 8‑K). Become an expert in Netflix’s employee equity approach and lead the design and delivery of education for employees and stakeholders worldwide. Partner with cross‑functional teams such as Payroll, Finance & Accounting, Global Mobility, Talent Analytics, Employee Technology, Legal, Treasury, and Employee Services. Ensure critical requirements are considered and communicated early in cross‑functional initiatives and a changing global regulatory landscape. Provide coaching, feedback, and development for other members of the Stock Operations team, including first‑level review of their work. Monitor the evolving global regulatory landscape for employee stock rules and proactively plan for jurisdictional changes. Execute equity‑related workstreams during M&A transactions, due diligence, and integration phases. Lead new country entries for stock operations, conducting feasibility assessments and operationalizing complex local compliance and reporting requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of relevant experience in equity administration and/or equity accounting. Direct equity administration experience preferred. Familiarity with US GAAP accounting principles and equity valuation models. Strong knowledge of legal, tax compliance, and reporting requirements for domestic and international equity. Experience working on M&A transactions and employee stock‑related impacts. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, manage competing priorities, and navigate uncertainty. Capacity to work independently and manage processes with cross‑functional teams. Strong executive presence and experience interacting with all levels of the company, including C‑Suite and Board of Directors. Experience with Equity Edge Online strongly preferred. Experience with Workday is a plus. Certified Equity Professional accreditation (Level II) strongly preferred. Who You Are Passionate about providing extraordinary employee experiences. Benefits and Compensation Compensation: annual salary in the range of $200,000.00 – $300,000.00. No bonuses; salary versus stock option allocation is chosen by the employee.
