Head of Operations Management (m/w/d)

Location: San Jose Yard

Reports to: Sean Schmidt

Schedule: Wed - Sat, 4 days on a week, 3 days off (night shift hours)

Pay Rate: $65,000 to $80,000 Annually

FLSA Status: Exempt

Love working with and managing drivers? We need a leader who can keep our drivers safe and happy. We value safety - if safety isn’t extremely important to you, this might not be the right role for you. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of your drivers and your customers.

You will help recruit new drivers and develop drivers to their full potential. You will build a team that works well together and focuses on customer service. Sometimes the job is complex.

Whether it means working with the maintenance team to make sure your team’s trucks are ready to go, working with account managers to serve the customer better, or simply helping a driver to be the best they can be, this job will keep you busy and engaged.

Job Responsibilities

Leading team start of shift meetings

Setting truck and route assignments

Auditing safety measures like pre-trip inspections, field quality, etc.

Mentoring and training drivers

Driving improvements in your market

Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent

Must be Able to Work the Overnight Shift

Must have Managerial experience (2+ years)

Must have DOT Regulation/Requirement Experience (2+ years)

Must be Mission-Driven (Booster’s mission is to power the delivery of everything)

Must be Open and Adaptable to Constant Change (start‑up environment)

Must be a Problem Solver

Experience leading a team in a logistics/transportation/operations environment preferred
