Job Full Description Human Resources Coordinator / Part Time Location: Vernon Hills, IL (Primarily Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday with flexible hours (20 hours/week ; 3-4 days/week)
Pay Rate: $24-25/hour
Duration: Temp to Hire
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Administrator/Coordinator to support a fast-paced HR team during a critical HRIS and payroll system transition. This individual will play a key role in ensuring a smooth migration from Paylocity to Rippling, while also supporting day-to-day HR operations. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to HR, acting as a key partner in daily operations
- Assist with HRIS migration from Paylocity to Rippling, including manual data entry, payroll data imports, report generation, and system updates
- Run, analyze, and upload reports to ensure data accuracy throughout the transition
- Support payroll processing (hands-on experience preferred)
- Respond to employee inquiries and assist with HR-related communication
- Assist with internal projects, including event coordination (e.g., company picnic)
- Provide light recruiting support, including coordination and administrative tasks
- Hands-on experience with Rippling is required; prior system implementation or integration experience is highly preferred
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus, but not required
- Prior HR Admin, HR Coordinator, or payroll support experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive data
- Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve
- Comfortable troubleshooting issues, researching solutions, and following through to resolution
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
