Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives as an itinerant School Psychologist supporting both middle and elementary school populations in a dynamic, full-time contract role. Work across multiple sites, managing a diverse caseload and facilitating students' growth and well-being within welcoming educational environments.
Utilize your expertise by conducting primarily initial evaluations and re-evaluations, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to help inform and guide individualized education plans. Thrive in a supportive atmosphere that values your professional insights and commitment to student success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience with both middle and elementary-age students
- Strong assessment skills, particularly regarding initial and re-evaluation processes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel between locations as needed for an itinerant assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational assessments for initial and re-evaluation referrals
- Interpret assessment outcomes and create comprehensive reports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Offer consultation and recommendations for educational planning and intervention
- Adhere to state and federal regulations as well as district procedures
- Maintain accurate, timely records and ensure confidentiality throughout
