Location: Mansfield, OH Pay: $17.50 per hour Schedule: MondayFriday, 6:00 AM2:30 PM
Job Summary
We are hiring a General Labor / Lumber Yard Associate to join our team in Mansfield, Ohio. This is a hands-on position in a lumber and building materials environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, comfortable performing physical labor, and able to work safely around lumber, tools, and other building materials.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a steady, full-time 1st shift position with a MondayFriday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties throughout the lumber yard and facility
- Handle, move, stack, and organize lumber and building materials
- Assist with daily yard and facility operations
- Use basic hand tools as needed
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Safely work around lumber, tools, equipment, and building materials
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Dependable and reliable with good attendance
- Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Able to safely lift, carry, and move materials as needed
- Able to follow safety procedures and instructions
- Comfortable working in an active lumber yard environment
- Must provide your own hammer and tape measure
