Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in World Languages and Special Education
• Proven experience instructing high school students in a world language
• In-depth understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), modifications, and accommodations
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Dedication to inclusive and culturally responsive instruction

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic world language lessons for high school students
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including students with IEPs and 504 plans
• Collaborate with fellow educators, counselors, and support staff to promote student success
• Assess learners’ progress regularly and adjust instruction based on data
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and intervention plans
• Build a welcoming, respectful classroom environment that values multicultural perspectives
• Engage families and guardians to support students’ language acquisition and growth
