As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you will develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch teams, home‑office teams and regional advisors. Support We Provide Paid training – registration and licensing through the industry’s top training program. Salary for the first five years as you build your practice. Key Responsibilities Build relationships and create new clients through face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (residential, business, networking, introductions, referrals, social media, speaking engagements). Deeply understand clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to create personalized, comprehensive strategies. Oversee branch processes and ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines. Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results. Create a highly engaging environment in the branch built on mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability. What Makes You Successful An interest in financial services and markets. Skills and Requirements A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or equivalent work‑related experience within the securities/financial services industry. Financial services and/or sales experience. Financial services registration, licensing, or certification. Professional and/or military career progression. Licensing SIE (obtained without firm sponsorship); Series 7 and Series 66 will be required. Registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during paid study when not currently registered. FINRA registrations required within three months. State insurance licenses will be required. Ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities (FINRA, SEC) and CE training required to keep licenses current. Basic life and AD&D coverage and disability income continuation are provided at no cost. A 401(k) retirement plan with tax‑advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA) is available. Paid sick leave, paid time off, bonuses, profit sharing, paid medical and parental leave, and a travel award program may also be available. All associates are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program. Compensation A new financial advisor compensation program includes trainee pay and a supplemental salary for up to five years, commissions, and compensation for new assets gathered during the first five years. Supplemental Starting Salary Range: $45,000 – $100,000.
