Responsibilities Assist in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications. Execute manual and automated tests across various platforms including web, mobile (Android and iOS), and desktop applications. Use testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and HP ALM to perform functional, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools like Jira or TFS. Conduct API testing utilizing RESTful APIs with tools like Postman or SoapUI; analyze API responses for correctness and performance. Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab for automated testing workflows. Participate in Agile development cycles by attending sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure quality is integrated into every phase of development. Experience Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall. Familiarity with testing frameworks including Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit or Cucumber. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript for test automation purposes. Exposure to database management systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle for data validation and analysis. Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN to manage code repositories effectively. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and debugging of issues.
