Account Manager Location: Manor, Texas (Client Site) Time Type: Full Time Job Summary The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing client relationships on one or more accounts. They provide client and project team leadership, develop mid‑senior level client relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor. They lead a Critical Mass project team, partner with a specific vertical client set, and are responsible for client satisfaction, account revenue growth, and overall business profitability in services delivery. Duties & Responsibilities Manage account relationships with select client organization(s) Ensure success and satisfaction of individual client relationships Grow client relationships in terms of revenue generated and account profitability Develop position as confidante with senior managers within client organization Build new relationships with senior managers within client organization Maintain client satisfaction, targeting 100% client reference-ability Sell the complete range of company’s services Create opportunities for deeper collaboration and interaction, reinforcing the client's status as an innovative participant in the creation of cutting‑edge solutions Provide leadership, support, and ongoing guidance to members of the project team Serve as company conduit and internal champion for client initiatives Provide company's internal teams with appropriate insight into client's strategic business initiatives Maintain current knowledge of industry structure, trends, initiatives, and issues Understand best practices and solutions across functions Understand marketplace dynamics and key players Oversee the development of detailed proposals and statements of work with the support of core team members Proactively sell and manage customer expectations, and communicate project and profit risks to company team and client Educational Background / Work Experience Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, communications, e‑business engineering, or computer science 5 years of Account Management experience in Internet Marketing, Advertising, or Management Consulting Relevant industry experience in Technology, Automotive, Retail, Travel & Hospitality, Financial Services, or Consumer Goods Demonstrated understanding of Customer Relationship Management, Content Management, Analytics, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, and Internet Technologies Skills & Competencies Expertise in managing fiduciary relationships including pricing, margins, discounting, cost factors, etc. Knowledge of programs, projects and knowledge management processes and toolsets Relationship management skills; proven negotiation and leadership abilities Motivated self‑starter capable of working in a client environment with a remote team Excellent written and oral communication, including outstanding presentation skills Comprehensive knowledge of e‑business issues and strong working knowledge of third‑party solution providers Excellent interpersonal skills with consensus building and team‑building, plus strong problem‑solving skills in program and account management Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Team orientation, especially when working with remote or decentralized teams Compensation Expected base pay range: $84,000 – $95,000 annually.
