Materials Coordinator – Manufacturing

Stanley Black & Decker | East Longmeadow, MA
Full-Time | $23.00/hr

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Stanley Black & Decker is looking for a  Materials Coordinator / Supply Crib Attendant to help manage inventory, supplies, and materials needed to keep production running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Retrieve, organize, and put away inventory and materials throughout the day.
• Maintain accurate and organized inventory within the supply crib.
• Support production by ensuring materials and supplies are available when needed.
• Walk throughout the manufacturing floor to retrieve and deliver materials.
• Work across multiple areas of the facility, supporting MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) needs throughout the plant.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient inventory area.

Important Physical Requirements

This is NOT a sedentary or desk-based position. Candidates must be comfortable being physically active throughout the workday.

• You should expect to be  standing and walking for 6+ hours on most days .
• The position requires frequent walking throughout the manufacturing facility to retrieve and put away inventory.
• Ability to  lift up to 50 lbs. independently is required.
• Ability to  team lift heavier items when needed is also required.
• You may be required to move materials, supplies, and inventory throughout the facility on a regular basis.
• Strong organizational skills are a  must , as you will be responsible for keeping inventory organized and accessible.

Work Environment

The manufacturing plant is  over 550,000 square feet and includes two locations , with MRO responsibilities covering the entire facility. This means you will spend a significant portion of your day moving throughout the plant and working with inventory in different areas.

If you prefer a sedentary or primarily desk-based position, this role would not be a good fit. This is an active, hands-on position that requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, retrieving, and organizing materials.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, physically capable, and comfortable working independently in a busy manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep inventory organized are essential to keeping production running efficiently.
