Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit during night shift hours
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status and responses to care in accordance with unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as operationally needed
• Adhere to all facility scheduling requirements, including holiday coverage expectations per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Willingness to work major holidays as required based on assignment period
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements, including completion of core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing and all compliance documents submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date
• Flexibility with facility scheduling; no block schedule requests or post-offer schedule requests can be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
• Familiarity with progressive care monitoring and intermediate-level patient acuity
