About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The available assignments include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation positions.

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy focused on improving functional independence and participation in daily activities. The therapist must also be comfortable floating to other qualified patient-care areas based on staffing and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and identify occupational therapy needs and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.

• Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve functional mobility, independence, and performance of daily activities.

• Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as appropriate, and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation professionals, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members while floating to qualified areas as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 Year of Occupational Therapist Experience Required.

• Current, Active Nebraska Occupational Therapist License Required.

• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification Required.

• Inpatient and/or Outpatient Rehabilitation Experience Required.

• Ability to Work Day Shifts, Use Epic EMR, and Float to Other Qualified Units or Patient-Care Areas as Needed Required.
