We have an outstanding opportunity for a Product Developer to be responsible for initial concept through final fit development and PP release to source base, system engagement, team engagement for all brands. This is a full-time role based in our corporate office in Sherman Oaks, CA. Prep, box, carry, and ship presentation packages as needed What Your Day Looks Like Manage the complete product lifecycle management (PLM) process, from BOM setup to final stages. Work closely with design teams throughout all stages of product development. Partner with the tech team to ensure the development and request of seasonal concept prototypes. Oversee and execute deliverables and milestones in alignment with the seasonal lifecycle calendar and PLM process. Work closely with Design and Merchandising teams to review line plans and presentation line sheets for accuracy. Oversee all trim development from concept to adoption. Manage new and carryover styles in PLM, ensuring they are maintained throughout the product release process. Request initial costing from BOM team. Prepare presentation samples for licensing, customers, and accounts as required. Manages brand sample library. Work with the Merchandising and Design teams to gather updates on seasonal newness and carryover items for PLM system entry. Assist in and contribute to design handoff meetings for seasonal newness. Collaborate with tech to track the status of development. Communicate with sourcing on all trim quality and color approvals. Finalize the Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage the progress through various development stages. Manage and release batching for seasonal and prints styles in release and product release stages. What We're Looking For 4+ years of experience in the apparel industry. Highly organized, with expert knowledge of fabric, trim, and garment construction. Detail proficiency, and team-oriented person. Proficiency with PLM systems. Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat (PDF). Strong and professional soft skills. BA or BS college related degree.
