Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team, specializing in structural engineering with a focus on steel and mining projects. This role offers the opportunity to support a global company in executing complex engineering projects while enjoying the benefits of a small company atmosphere.
Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural components for steel and mining projects.
• Utilize advanced tools such as CAD, Advanced Steel, and Solidworks to create detailed engineering designs.
• Collaborate with a global team on international projects, ensuring designs meet local and international standards.
• Support and mentor interns and beginning engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in structural engineering with a focus on steel projects.
• Experience with CAD, Advanced Steel, and Solidworks.
• 3D experience including RISA, sizing numbers, and connection details.
• Ability to design steel connections and utilize RISA for connection design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in any project background related to mining or bulk material handling.
• Familiarity with Revit/CAD is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team of four within the Structural group.

Work Environment
The position is fully in-office with no travel required. The work environment provides a small company feel with the backing of a larger organization. The team consists of four individuals within the Structural group. Employees have the opportunity to work on international projects and collaborate with colleagues from around the world, while contributing to sustainable productivity and environmental responsibility.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.00/hr.
